I am a Psychodynamic Psychologist which means that I believe our emotional and psychological wellbeing are shaped by our relationships. Many of the difficulties that people experience with anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, or feeling generally overwhelmed have their roots in early experiences of disconnection, loss and isolation. When these experiences are too painful or remain unresolved, they often continue to affect us long into adulthood.
About
In therapy I offer a calm and supportive space, where you can talk openly and at your own pace. As I believe that your wellbeing is shaped by relationships and connection, I will pay close attention to how emotions show up between us in the room, to help you better understand yourself and your relationships outside of the therapy. Often feelings that have been too hard to make sense of on your own, can be either confusing or overwhelming. My role is to help you make these feelings more manageable over time.
As a Psychologist with over 17 years of experience working in mental health, I aim to be thoughtful, warm, and emotionally attuned. I see therapy as a process of helping you to feeling more connected to who you are and what matters to you.
I am particularly interested in working with people who feel “stuck”, deeply affected by significant change, grief, loss or separation, and/or who are susceptible to emotional overwhelm. I bring an understanding that endings, separations, and transitions can be difficult, and I work carefully with these experiences, so they don’t have to be faced alone.
I welcome people seeking a reflective, relational approach to therapy. Together we can work towards greater self-understanding, stronger relationships, and developing the life you want to live.

My approach is grounded in person centred and psychodynamic principles. I am trained in a range of evidence-based therapy models which I draw from to create a tailored treatment plan that meets your individual needs.
